Along side that there has been a small issue that I have felt completely uninspired. I like to blog outfits that I have carefully put together and styled well, which is why I only blog one outfit post a week, and I haven't really had a chance to put something together recently, and most of the time I am in old band t shirts and leggings and no one wants to see that. So, as I have blog club tomorrow at Bath and Unwind in Bristol (I am very excited!) I thought I would do a small ease myself back into blogging post about things I have bought and done recently, before writing a mega long one about blog club later on this week.
Some things I bought recently are; I like Cats note books. I am totally obsessed with this etsy shop, toby is lovely and so talented and I honestly could buy everything in his store, the notebooks came the next day after ordering and are beautifully put together. Check out the collaborations he has done with my favourite acrylic laser cut company (after BHC of course) DesignosaurYEAH. Next purchase was this unapologetic fat love 'Bellies are badass' tote bag from the glorious Kirsty over at art-i-ficial.com who did this design and it was so popular she put it on a bag, you can get yours here on her etsy shop.
The last of my recently purchases are these Vivienne Westwood Melissas in the most amazing mint green colour ever. Diana from fatfemmefabulous.com bought some but they were the wrong size and customs had made a little nick in the sole, so I took them off her hands. I haven't ever had a pair before because I have wide big feet so I didn't want to risk it, but Diana said that she also had wide feet and they were never a problem for her. They fit like a dream and after a few days of walking around in them so they could mould to my foot they felt fine. There wasn't even any rubbing or anything like that and I haven't taken them off since. Had I know that the biggest size they do, did actually fit me then I would have bought the red pair for my wedding, and I am still slightly stinging about my wedding shoe debacle but you live and learn!
I haven't been feeling myself for so long that I haven't even taken any good selfies, and I feel like selfies are always this point where you take a picture of yourself where you think you look GREAT and you show everyone how great you are feeling, so here is the last great one I took of me in my 'cross my heart, hope to die, stick a needle, in my eye, sunglasses, which you can get here for £6.25!
Lastly, I haven't been able to get to my favourite nail place Kaycie Kyle in Bristol for a long time, in March they did my nails (pictured above) and it was the happiest I had ever been with nails, I had so many compliments! So I knew I wouldn't be able to make it to Kaycies this week and my nails needed doing so I had a go at some nail art myself, and I was more than pleased with the results.
So there you go, this post was a be nice to me after an incredibly busy and strange period and how it is important to look after yourself sometimes!
Ahhh yeah! Thanks for the mention! I have that notebook, it's the BEST!
