White Cami Dress Vest: Primark
Last summer I got these acid wash shorts from New Look, and it was the first time I got my fat naked legs out and I loved it. I have been waiting for ages to find an outfit that I liked enough that wasn't a band t shirt and these to blog. I really thought I wasn't going to enjoy the 70s trend, but when I saw what was rapidly taking over every single clothes shop I went in in Bristol last weekend all I could think about was tassels and fringe.
I grabbed this kimono that honestly looks like my nans net curtains on a rail in Primark. I got in an 'L' and I can't think of any plus size person that wouldn't fit in to it. I also got a couple of my absolute staple wardrobe pieces, the cami dress. I wear a lot of vests as I like to layer, but being tall and fat I find it hard to find one that covers my belly when I don't want a VBO and that doesn't show all of my boobs. The Primark cami dress is perfect, it is stretchy and long and also has a nice support structure to it so it holds me in a bit in the boob area.
I feel like I am going to embrace the 70's trend, but not in that gross ~boho~ Sienna Miller vibe of the early 2000's. I do not want to see any greek disc belts, or shapeless tiered maxi skirts, I want to see lots of fringes, and mustards, and suede and pleather. My friend commented that I look very horror scream queen. I must admit that I do sort of look like I could be about to hop into a camper van that breaks down outside the Sawyer house!
I teamed it with these white canvas plimsole heels I got in the New Look sale ages ago, which are supremely comfy and I wish I had bought two pairs. This was the outfit I wore to Bristol Pride this year, although I did add this huge rainbow necklace I made myself and brooches for the rest of the Black Heart Creatives team.
Everything on point! Love your hair, lips and that necklace especially!

Oh! I LOVE this outfit! Those acid wash shorts are great, I can't wait for it to warm up here (I'm in Australia) so I can rock some shorts again! I am loving your hair! I never thought i'd like the 70's trend much, but I have noticed i've bought a few fringed things and kimono type tops.
