80s Bridesmaid eBay Fantasy

Shoes - Vivienne Westwood Melissas
Earrings - Black Heart Creatives
Clutch Bag - Vintage

A few weeks ago I did a post on my Plus Size eBay finds (here) and after the post I bought the mint skirt and bardot leotard.  Both came in record time, but took me a few weeks to put the outfit together and find the perfect place to shoot it.  Weirdly, there aren't a lot of (free) flower gardens around the part of the cotswolds that I live in, but in my dear homeland of Hemel Hempstead there is a beautiful one just off Gadebridge Park.

I would highly recommend that you size down if you decide to get a skirt, which comes in a huge range of pastel colours, as it is incredibly stretchy and flowy, I could have done with at least a size smaller.  The leotard however I would suggest sizing up, I don't have particularly huge boobs, but I have a good Mariah gap and a long torso and it was a little bit more stretched out that I would have liked.

I bought this clutch bag in a charity shop in Luton about ten years ago, or whenever the last series of Sex and the City ended.  All I wanted was a vintage Dior clutch like Carrie had in Paris, and this was in the first one I looked in the day after it aired! Although a bit scuffed and well worn now, it is still a firm favourite in my wardrobe.

The bun crown is one I had made by the amazing Crown and Glory about a year ago, I haven't worn it as much as I wish I had, to be honest I don't have many occasions to look like an 80s bridesmaid! The earrings are the new style in the Black Heart Creatives shop.

My next Plus Size eBay finds will be a monthly instalment, there will be a new post next week with 70s inspired finds!
